Shannon has over 21 years of interiors experience, and has been involved in every facet of both furniture dealerships and manufacturers including sales, design and project management. After running three companies for others, he started IE in order to set a new level of industry performance. His goal is to make sure the right team and products come together to ensure a project, regardless of size, is completed to the client¹s specifications and exceeds their expectations. As a leader Shannon is a key advocate for IIDA, TAID, and Vistage.
Christi Sweeny, Sales Director
Christi Sweeney, an expert in the corporate and contract furniture industry, is the Director of Sales for the Houston market here at Inside Evolutions. Christi strives to be an organization’s trusted advisor in order to help align their culture, brand and functional objectives to drive a higher level of engagement to their employees and customers. Christi found her passion for sales at a (relatively) young age and worked in outside sales while studying Integrated Communication at University of Houston. She has worked various sales and management positions over the years however her true passion is working with her clients to help solve their needs. In her spare time, you can find Christi trying out a new baking recipe in the kitchen, crafting her heart out, listening to classic rock (Queen is her all-time favorite) or enjoying the outdoors with camping and biking.
Kim joined Inside Evolutions in 2017 as the Director of Sales specializing in Education. She graduated from UCLA and has been in sales and management for over 25 years. Thorough out her Sales career, she has been successful by building and maintaining strong relationships and helping clients find solutions based on their needs. She is an accomplished, detail oriented, relationship driven, enthusiastic, and motivated B2B sales professional with extensive and versatile experience in all levels of the sales process with various products and services. Recipient of various awards, contest prizes, bonuses and recognition for job performance excellence. Kim is a native Houstonian, graduated from Bellaire High School, and has been a Bellaire resident for over 20 years.
Regina is Director of Sales for Government and Corporate accounts. Her past experience includes 20+ years as Business Development for National Accounts programs for Office Depot. Her success led her on many trips to Chairman’s Circle and she has always been known to be an important part of mentoring new Corporate Salespeople.
She has a BS in Business/Marketing from the University of Houston and has served on Boards for many of her teenage son’s interests from Football to Lacrosse and ROTC. Her son has started College now, but she says she will always be a “Sports Mom” at heart.
Through her National Accounts programs, Regina developed a real love for furniture and design and has been a great partner over the years to clients who are moving, expanding and growing into new spaces. She says “At IE, we like to stay up to date with workplace trends and look at the many ways and areas where the work gets done. Working collaboratively, we encourage Active Design where employees are engaged and are creating a good work/life balance. This is how we help ensure that Companies are attracting and retaining quality employees.”
Alexa is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture, Alexa has been working in the Interior Design profession for over 10 years. Passing the NCIDQ and becoming a Registered Interior Designer in 2008, Alexa’s industry experience ranges from architectural drafting & design to contract furniture design/specification and commercial facilities space planning. She has extensive experience working with companies in the development and implementation of Innovative Collaborative Workplaces and Global FF&E standards programs. Clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to large healthcare networks, Alexa understands the importance interior environments play on employee attraction, retention, and productivity, as well as the impact interior environments have on mental health and patient healing. It is her goal to continue to be a valuable resource, bringing a positive attitude and passion for success to each project.
Gloria Brooks has been creating beautiful interiors for over 25 years. Armed with a BFA in Interior Design, she began her career in the Dallas area, where she owned her own design studio and showroom. Specializing in working with high-end custom home builders, she worked with home buyers from the ground up, selecting each detail from the brick & stone all the way through to the last piece of art on the wall.
After working in the corporate world for the past three years, she realized firsthand the importance of creating beautiful and functional work spaces as well. After all, we spend most of our waking hours at work.

Mitch is a graduate from Central Washington University. He holds a BS in Environmental Studies and worked his way through college working for a timber company and as environmental specialist. After college he began his career in San Francisco working for a family owned Haworth dealership. In 2005 he moved to San Antonio with his family and continued a very successful career in representing large manufacturers such as Knoll, Haworth and Teknion. Most recently he starting a Native American Owned Business Enterprise and as a sub representative for Workspace Marketing Group. Mitch thrives in his business with his contacts with dealer owned principals and dealer sales reps. He also has great contacts within the GC and A&D communities. Mitch is a true hunter in the furniture industry and his dealer principal contacts appreciate the collaboration. He has successfully represented his manufacturers in areas in Waco, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, The Lower Rio Grande Valley, and El Paso.
IN HOUSE SUPPORT
Cindy Mueller is the Sales Coordinator and Showroom Manager for Inside Evolutions. Cindy has extensive experience working for both an independent manufacturer’s rep and the manufacturer since 1999. She provides pre-sales and post-sales support to the sales team and customers and is responsible for the day to day operations of the showroom.
Kacey is the Lead Designer for Inside Evolutions. She graduated with educational honors from the Art Institute of Houston with a B.F.A in Interior Design. During her time there she won two national and local Design competitions. Kacey’s professional career consisted of 5 years design, furniture specification, and project management experience. Kacey maintains her involvement with design community with joint memberships in IIDA and NEWH; she currently holds the NEWH-Houston Chapter, President and is highly involved with national chapter.
